Haqiqat-i-bina wa arooz-i-Sikhan is a short treatise in persian on the origin and development of the sikhism written in 1783 by an anonymous writter. Besides providing evidence on the eighteen century Sikh history it provides significant insights into the Sikh beliefs and practices of Sikhism. Its historical value and text in punjabi has been made available by Prof. Balwant Singh Dhillon. It was released on the inauguration of the building of the Centre.

There are more than one thousand Persian words that have been employed in the Sikh Scripture. Dr. Amarwant Singh, Dr. Balwant Singh Dhillon, Director of the Centre and Dr. Muhabat Singh, JRF in the Centre has worked on the Persian-Arabic Glossary of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. It contains more than three thousand entries wherein besides the root meanings in Persian, their occurrence in Gurbani along with their context and examples have been explained.
The Centre has launched an annual research journal, Perspectives on Guru Granth Sahib which is exclusively devoted to the studies on Sri Guru Granth Sahib. It is a referred and peer reviewed research journal accredited with ISSN. It carries high quality research papers on the various facets of Sikh Scripture and its literature. So far thre issues (Vol.7, 2009-12; Vol.8, 2013; vol.9 2014) of this journal have been published.
